Innovation is the reason humans can fly. Seeing those early attempts — the legends who tried even knowing success was uncertain, doing it anyway for the challenge — shows me that we all carry that same capacity as humans. That's what drives me.
That same spirit leads me to chase what's genuinely hard to achieve — just to see if it can be done.
Curiosity
Why hard problems pull me in
Easy problems don't stay with me for long. The ones that stick are the ones I don't fully get yet. Where the answer isn't sitting on the surface, and I have to stay with it until something clicks.
That's the same pull I felt thinking about those early flights. You try. It fails. You adjust. You try again. Eventually something that felt impossible starts to hold.
Craft
How I like to think
I care about things being clear. Not perfect on day one, just clear enough that they can grow without turning into a mess. If I can't explain an idea simply, I usually don't trust it yet.
Tools come and go. What I try to keep sharp is judgment. Knowing what matters right now, what can wait, and what will quietly cause pain later if I skip it.

Away from the keyboard, I'm still drawn to the same thing: learning something I don't understand yet, and staying with it until it starts to make sense.
I like quiet focus, honest conversations, and work that leaves people a little better than before. That's the bar I try to hold, whether anyone is watching or not.
